We HAVE a HOUSE!!

I'm writting this a bit early
because I have school today and
we're closing on the house!!

Yesterday we signed all the paper work
and did the final walk through.

We are both so excited.
This week we've even picked out
paint colors for the rooms.
Only one room will be alittle bright.
It'll be my craft room.
I can't wait to show you the color I picked.

So any way we will be getting the keys today
and the house will offically be ours!!

Here's a few pictures of Our Casa:
Us with our "Sold" sign :).

Our wonderful Realtor Virginia.
If you're in the area and in the market to sell
or purchase a home I recommend talking to Virginia.
She was able to answer all our questions and was
very upfront with us. She went above and beyond.

The Front of the House:

The Family room, soon to be my crafty room:

Well there you have it a peek at our house.
Hopefully I'll catch up with everything soon.

Weekend Work

As you all know I LOVE my little monsters.
Both mine and mom's.
With the upcoming move, mom and
I are worried about how the dogs will
take the move and seperation from each other.
Mom's little Spike and
My Zoey adore each other.
They are always playing together and cuddling.
In the morning Spike scratches at our bedroom
door waiting for Zoey to come out and play.
The rest are close to each
other but these to are the closest.
This month's sketch challenge was inspired by this LO.

From Left to right Spike, Gizmo, Booster, & Zoey.
With the paper and stickers I'm not sure this LO
Really needs to have a Title :).

Yet another LO from Disneyland :).

I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend.

Flower Butterfly Tutorial

My buddy Erin gave me this
fantastic idea for a tutorial.

I had yet to try this technique but
knew right away it would be a favorite!

Why?

Well, because it's how to make Butterflies!!
In the Video I show how you can make
butterflies from 6 petal flowers.

Below You'll see pictures of a couple more options.

Here are the butterflies from the video:

These are made using 5 petal felt flowers:

There are made using 5 petal prima flowers:

For the antenas on the butter flies I curled
a 4 inch peice of 20 gauge wire on each end
and the folded the wire in half.

I hope you enjoyed the tutorial.

We played Mini Golf! I beat my man silly!
Even got a hole in one more that once :).

Justin and his younger brother Daniel.

My Favorite Grandma & Awesome Husband!

Me and my pretty Nails!

Wooohooo, a little peek into the last two weeks!

Monday, October 12, 2009

Yawn! So exhausted!I

It's been a long and fabulous two weeks.
From Oct 1st-5th Mom and I were in Glendale for
the CKC event and to visit with my in-laws.
The CKC was AWESOME!

I got to be home Oct 6-7th and half of the 8th.
Those days were spent un-packing re-packing and school.

On the 8th we headed back up to Phoenix.
Spent more time with the in-laws and
went to a cousin's beautiful backyard wedding.

And we got to meet our newest little
nephew Trevor for the first time.

And Justin took me to Ikea for the first time.
I now have a list of a million
things I would like one day :).

Oh and I even got to spend some girl time
with my MIL and SIL getting our nails done.
My nails look awesome but I am
so not girlie enough for them.
Even typing has become a chore.
But it was fun and something we all got to do together.

There's pictures but I still have
to load them to the computer :).
So yes (yawn) I'm exhausted.

But it doesn't slow down from here.
We're getting things ready for the house, to move and
I have classes I'll be helping with at the LSS soon.
Plus School, is getting crazier.

But you can still count on seeing creations :).
I hope you all have had a lovely fall so far!

Please remember that this month's challenge is
coming to end on the 15th so get your entries in!
I can't wait to see them!

Spook-tac-ular Treat Basket & Tutorial

Halloween is just around the corner
and giving out treats is something I love doing!

So for this month's IIG altered project I
decided to decorate a little wicher basket
and make a dozen little treat boxes.

I admit the little favor boxes were not my idea.
A wonderful lady at the LSS crop night showed me how
to make them and now I'll be passing it on to you :).

This little project is so super easy and fun.
I hope you enjoy it and love it as much as I do!
