Challenge #13 Prize posted!

I've had a pretty busy week.
Had friends over on Sunday.
Taught a Cricut Class Monday.
Had a Friend over on Tuesday.
Spend the day out with Momma on Wednesday.
Went to a Tupperware class on Thursday.
Prepped the house Friday for the
delivery of our New Sleep Number Bed.
(FYI moving a Queen size bed alone is no easy task.)
Saturday the Sleep Number Bed Arrived and
Mom and I spent the afternoon at the
scrapbook store helping the owner pack.

NOW that Tupperware class was awesome!
Mom and I bought these microwave cooking sets
and of course we had to learn how to use them
so tada the class. But you can cook a lb of
Chicken in 6 Minutes!! And it's perfect,
not dry, not funky, perfect! I can't wait
till we get our sets in this next week!

Opps sorry off track!

Okay so today my first task was to finish
gathering the items for Challenge #13's prize!
Here is the Prize:

the following items in order of the photos.

Princess Birthday!

My little Cousin Belle is celebrating her
5th birthday this month,
so I knew I has to make something for her.
I used the new Once Upon a Princess Cartridge
for my Cricut and got to work.

What's better than playing dress up?
Each doll stands at about 3 inches
and they have plenty of dress to share :).
The dolls and dress are each backed with thin
chipboard for better wear and tear.
To attach the dresses to the
dolls I used little Velcro dots.

To Complete the Princess theme I
created a Castle Card of course!!

This is Belle the Birthday Girl!
This little girl is a true Princess!

Happy Birthday Belle!

It's ALL about the SUSSIES!

In November 2008 I was searching for a
monthly kit club and stumbled on Scrapbook Sussies.

I LOVE Sussie's kits.

They are Packed with embellishments and Paper galore.
Kits are two sided - so it's like getting two kits instead of one!
So here I am 15 month's later still a
subscriber and I still get antsy waiting
for my kit to show up at my door step.

You've gotta check out the kits.
Here's the April Kit:

Here's a few projects I've
completed with the kit so far.

I hope you get to check out the Scrapbook Sussies Site
and take time out to check out the Blog.

Cake Pin Cushion

Have you seen The DIY Dish?
No?
Then you must ASAP!

Kim and Kris are fantastic ladies
and have so many cool and unique ideas.
When I saw their first episode I became
hooked, yes, just the first one.
I couldn't wait for the 2ND one to be posted.
They are now on episode #4 and I'm loving it.

Now so far projects they have shown
are normally projects I would not attempt.
But I did :).

Here's my first attempt at the lovely
pin cushion tutorial from the 1st episode.

It's red so of course it's my mom's :)!
She loves it and I hope to make a couple more soon.
