Juju Bee's Clean Sweep Offical Rules

Organizing is key to making
your space more efficient.
You want to look at a few key things
about your space and you crafting
style before you start.

What do you have a lot of? Maybe
it’s ribbon or stickers or paper.
What amount of space do you have to
organize your supplies?
Do you have drawer space, shelves,
empty walls, cabinets?
Look at what you use most such as tools &
adhesives; are they in an easy reach area?

Each Monday starting February 1st,
a new challenge will be posted.
You will need to post a before and after
photo of the challenge space and post
it in the appropriate thread.
Photos will need to posted by the next Monday.

Each Challenge post will have ideas of how to
organize the challenge area such as, ribbon,
paper, buttons, stickers ect.
How you organize it is up to you and your needs.
Organizing doesn’t have to be a
pricey venture and I hope to include
thrifty solutions for each challenge.

You will not need to participate every week.
The challenge is mainly just to
help you organize your space.
For each challenge you complete your name
will go into a drawing at the end for a prize!
The prize will be posted in a just a few weeks.

I hope you get to play along and have fun!

Shrink-a-dink Jewelry Tutorial

Most of you have seen my project
for this month's Dotty Diva's Prompt!

I mentioned I used shrink-a-dinks
and here is the tutorial.

Collect your Supplies.
I used a Crop-a-dile, Staz On, Cuttle Bug
with Butterfly die and embossing folders,
Shrink-a-dinks, Jewelry Jump rings, beads,
clasps and used a conventional oven.
(Not all items are pictured.)

Cut out your shapes.
I cut out 6 butterflies.
5 for the bracelet and 1 for the necklace.
I have tiny wrists so if you'd like
a larger bracelet cut out a few more.

Emboss all butterflies.

Rub Staz On over the Top to
make the embossing stand out.

Punch 3/16" hole on each wing.
Remember these shrink so though the
hole may look large it won't be after
it's been in the oven to shrink.

Lay the Butterflies on a flat baking sheet.
Follow Shrink-a-Dinks directions
for the oven temp and time.

Butterflies are done shrinking.

Use jump rings to link
butterflies to create a bracelet.

Add small beads for interest.

Tada! Cute new jewelry and even a simple
way to make embellishments for a project.

Bowling & More!

So far my year has been full of family activites.
I haven't been to see my mom's side
of the family in years and recently
we've started to travel to Texas.
The trips weren't started as a pleasure,
but they are a blessing in so many ways.
To able to be with family and spend time
with them is very important to me and I
cherish these moments good and bad.

So in my most recent trip to TX my honey
was able to tag along for a few days.
We got to spend Saturday with my cousins Jenny,
her son Kristian, and her boyfriend Carlos.

We spent the most of the day with
Kristian visiting the Border Patrol
Museum and later on the Science Museum.
The Boys (Justin & Kristian) were really having fun!
I learned alot about the Border Patrol
and even more greatful they are defending
our borders, they have alot to protect,
but the job will never be over.

For lunch we met with Jenny at the
Incrediable Pizza Company!
It's like a pumped up Peter Piper
with go karts, bowling, an arcade
and a buffet of yummy pizza.

Later on in the evening we got together with
Jenny, Carlos and Kris to go bowling.
Carlos won the first round and allowed
his ego to get too large :).
He was so busy bragging he
lost the second round to me :).
I hate to bowl and am usually not very good,
but that evening I was doing really well.
You'll see the scores below and my score is
under "Titi" my nick name my family calls me.

Just alittle look into what I've been up to.
