Craftastic Challenge #6 (RAK) - 8/16 - 9/15

Are you ready for challenges?

Here's the details:

Below you'll find 4 challenges.
2 LO Challenges, 1 Card Challenge and 1 Altered Item Challenge.
You are not being asked to do all challenges, though.

For each Challenge you submit to me your name will be
entered into a "raffle" for the monthly RAK.
So if you do one challenge you will be entered once, do 4
then you'll be entered 4 times.
This is just a way to Challenge you and give you the chance
to try new techniques.
If you have suggestions on RAKs or Challenges let me know
and I'll be more than happy to try to incorporate them.

Layout Sketch
For this one just follow the sketch and make it your own at the same time.
Sketch is from pagemaps.com.

Layout Shopping List
Use at least 3 of the following items in a LO.
~1 Large Flowers
~Large Chipboard Piece
~3+ Buttons
~Card Stock Background
~Bling/Glitter
~3+ Brads
~Ribbon
~Color Yellow
~Ink
~Charm
~Butterfly
~2+ Photos
~Black & White Photos

(If you combine LO Challenges 1 & 2 your name will be entered an extra time, so instead of 2 chance to win the RAK it'll be 3.)

Card Sketch
Follow the sketch and make it your own at the same time.
This is a sketch from Pagemaps.com I love the sketches from there.

Outta the Box
With School Fast approuching and in some cases having
already started notebooks are on sale like crazy!
So my challenge for you this month is to alter a notebook,
composition book, or even address book.
Make it for yourself, a friend, or even as a special
back to school gift for your little one.
Here's a little 3x5 notebook I altered:

Submitting your work is easy,
either post a comment here with the
link or email me a photo @ craftasticlife@hotmail.com.
Just make sure to put in the Subject Line "Craftastic Challenge #5"
and the Title(s) of your project(s).
Challenge ends September 15, 2009.

Now for goodies!!
This month the RAK is 12x12 LO Kit.
It's made up of mainly the Pink Paislee line Fetching.
A Fiskar Tear Edger- Scallop has been added.
And other matching embellishments.

Big Thanks to Mom & Illyse for donating to our RAK this month.

*If we reach 10 Ladies participating a
2nd RAK will be given, so make sure to tell your girl friends.

I can't wait to see what you all come up with.
As usual I'll be playing along too and will hopefully manage
to complete all four projects.
Good Luck Ladies, and happy scrapping.
If you have questions about techniques send me a message.

Hi Kristen, I'm just checking in to say hello to some of my followers and wow, I found your neat challenges. I'm going to try the card sketch and altered journal.
I like this, it's a bit different.

Jeanette

P.S. We had a lovely day visiting Tombstone, too.
